Our Process

Arts of Point Richmond is a community-rooted, artist-driven nonprofit dedicated to nurturing creativity, celebrating diversity, and making the arts accessible to all. Based in the heart of Point Richmond, we exist to uplift the voices of local artists and build a vibrant, inclusive culture where art can flourish.

Our Tale

Founded by a group of passionate artists and art supporters, Arts of Point Richmond began with a simple idea: that art should be seen, shared, and celebrated in everyday spaces — not just in museums. What started as a grassroots effort to host community exhibits has grown into a thriving organization that touches lives across all generations.
Over the years, we’ve transformed sidewalks into gallery spaces, storefronts into creative windows, and community rooms into stages of expression. We believe that everyone deserves a space to create, connect, and be inspired.

What We Do

We offer a range of programs and services designed to serve both artists and the broader community:
Host public exhibitions that spotlight emerging and established local talent
Organize free and low-cost workshops for youth, adults, and seniors
Facilitate community murals and public art installations across Point Richmond
Collaborate with local schools, libraries, and civic spaces to embed art into the fabric of daily life
Create opportunities for artists to network, grow, and gain visibility
Whether you’re a painter, poet, photographer, or someone who simply loves the arts, our doors are open to you.
